The Shopping Edit #26 My must have bags of the season under 500 Euros
Cool, chic, and versatile bags that won’t break the bank—including two The Row-inspired picks for that effortless It Girl vibe.
I’ll admit it—I’m a bag addict. Wherever I go, I end up buying a bag. Not talking designer bags, just bags in general. Put me in any market in the world, and I’ll walk out with a new bag.
But let’s not dwell on my addiction (LOL). I want to share some amazing bags I found for under 500 euros . A beautiful bag is key, and to me, that doesn’t mean a big logo plastered across it. No offense, but the logo mania isn’t for me. Sure, I have a few, but the older I get, the less I want to look like a walking billboard.
So, back to the point. Can you look chic and stylish with a non-luxury bag? YES, YOU CAN! True elegance isn’t something you buy—it’s how you carry yourself. The bag doesn’t make you elegant; you do.
This week, I’ve put together a selection of gorgeous, high-quality bags. Trust me, if they had a logo on them, you’d be all over them, but this time, it’s all about simplicity, great shapes, beautiful designs, and practicality (for less than 500 euros, I might add!).
And for those who still want a “designer” look, check out my newsletter on how I buy vintage Hermes and more. ( here)
So, let’s start with a bag I’ve been eyeing on the Cos website forever: the Margot(esque). It’s been styled in tons of outfits, but it was never available—until now! I have to say, it looks stunning and totally gives that designer vibe! (Plus, with so many fake Margots floating around, I’d rather get an inspired version than a knockoff. Right?)

Heard the Western vibe is in this year? If you’re not ready to go full cowboy (a la Beyoncé) but still want to catch the vibe, this tote bag has you covered!

Alright, so I had to make an exception here—this one’s over 500 euros, but I’m absolutely obsessed with this bag. The shape, the color, and especially that belt detail—I’m just a sucker for those little design touches. The silhouette is soft and beautiful, making it the kind of bag you can wear all year round, from winter to summer, with pretty much any outfit. It’s super versatile, and though it’s pushing 600 euros, it’s such a gorgeous, feminine piece. There’s also a larger size, but I’d stick with this one because it’s just the perfect size for daily wear. Unless you’re planning to carry a laptop and a bunch of extras, this is the day bag. I’m seriously in love with this Little Liffner gem!

Another suede beauty! I’m in love with this Staud bag because of its soft, buttery leather. Suede has such a chic vibe, and while I didn’t go with suede for my own bag designs (I wanted something a bit less delicate), I’ve always been more into the soft, buttery leather feel over the structured, hardcore kind. And this bag? It’s one of the coolest I’ve come across. It has that duffel look and can be worn crossbody or as a shoulder bag—super stylish, with a touch of femininity. It comes in three colors, and while the burgundy and black are stunning, I’d go with the brown. Brown is the ultimate neutral for me; it goes with black, denim, beige—anything, really. Plus, it adds a soft, warm touch to any outfit.

Here we go with another piece inspired by The Row—yep, it’s suede leather again. It’s spacious enough to fit everything; honestly, you could even use it for a one-night getaway or to carry your gym essentials. The shape is just so cool—structured but with a bit of that slouchy, laid-back feel. And the color? Total perfection for mixing with anything, adding that “cool girl” touch to any outfit, like the busy girl who carries her life in her bag. I’d style this with a long trench, boyfriend jeans, western boots, a light knit, and maybe big sunglasses for that chic, effortless look. This bag does it all: day bag, travel bag, gym bag—even a baby bag if you need it. Definitely a must-have!
